Fun seekers could see live performances of movie stars like Monalisa Chinda, Charles Inojie, Francis Duru, Ejike Asiegbu and others by purchasing tickets for N5000, N10,000, N20,000 and tables ranging from N250 ,000 to N500,000.

Philomene, a K’Ike Productions Limited production, was written and directed by Bimbo Manuel, with Monalisa Chinda as co-executive producer and Bikiya Graham-Douglas as producer.

The film is the skillfully told story of three characters who find themselves, by sheer chance, in the same space at the same time, each with their personal issues that they would have taken with them if events had not forced them out. Each character seeks to justify their rage against society, the government and life.

According to Bimbo Manuel, Philomène: interview with a prostitute can no longer be contained in a single book. Like the small acorn, the small intensive play has become a massive star-studded theatrical phenomenon.

Also speaking, Monalisa Chinda said: “From my first encounter with the piece, Philomene, it became a story that needed to be told.

Bikiya Graham-Douglas, while commenting on the piece, said, “I’m happy to do this. What’s even more exciting is that it takes place in The Garden City. I believe this is the start of greater things to come in our beloved city, Port Harcourt.

“It is phenomenal that we are bringing together Nollywood veterans and local talent in one performance space in our city. I am happy to do this at my home in Rivers State.
