The next Made in Abyss: A Binary Star Falling into Darkness action RPG has released a new systems trailer that goes over its various mechanics and previews the English voice cast.
The Deep in Abyss mode, which features an original story and a customizable protagonist called Aki, will allow players to take quests from Jiruo and the Cave Raider Guild to progress through the story. Along with battling enemies and solving puzzles, players will dig sites to obtain relics, which can be sold for cash and XP, and engage in activities like fishing and foraging. to get items.
Items and food can be crafted, including the mail balloon which is used to save progress. Players will also have to deal with The Curse of the Abyss, which causes hallucinations, bleeding, and other debilitating effects “when returning to base.”
The Hello Abyss mode, which follows the anime’s story and puts players in Riko’s boots, isn’t highlighted in the trailer, but the video description says it will allow players “to learn the basic system and how to progress in the game”. .” Riko will also appear in the Deep in Abyss mode.
Made in Abyss: A Binary Star Falling into Darkness is set to release on September 2 in North America and Europe on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. It is based on the ongoing publications of Takeshobo Made in the Abyss manga by Akihito Tsukushiwho oversees the game.
