Disney+ launches in the Philippines – What’s New Disney Plus

Disney+ continues its global rollout today, with the streaming service launching in the Philippines, offering a huge selection of movies and TV shows from iconic Disney brands including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic. and Star.

Disney+ is available on a wide selection of mobiles and TVs subject to the subscription plans chosen by users, including smartphones and tablets (Android or iOS), smart TVs such as Samsung and LG and devices from connected televisions, including Google TV and other Android TV operating systems, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD and Chromecast.

There will be two tiers available, Mobile and Premium:

  • A mobile plan for P159 ($3) per month or P1,150 ($20) per year
  • A Premium plan for P369 ($6) per month or P2,950 ($50) per year

The premium plan offers high-quality viewing in 4K, with up to four simultaneous streams and the ability to create up to seven different user profiles per account. While the Mobile Plan will be a little more limited, with only one simultaneous stream at a time, and it will only be available in HD (720p).

There’s a lot of great content coming to Disney+ after launch, including:

  • November 17: Limitless with Chris Hemsworth – Global movie star Chris Hemsworth (Extraction, Thor, The Avengers) explores the groundbreaking idea that we could fight aging and discover the full potential of the human body in this National Geographic Original series.
  • November 18: Mickey: The Story of a Mouse – A riveting Disney documentary about one of the world’s most beloved icons who is now recognized as a symbol of joy and innocence in virtually every corner of the globe.
  • November 18: Disenchanted – An all-new live-action musical and sequel to Disney’s box office hit Enchanted about a sweet young girl from the fairy tale world of Andalasia who finally finds her prince charming in the kingdom of New York.
  • 21 November : Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodger Stadium – In a once-in-a-lifetime special live event, fans around the world will feel like they have a front row seat to witness the magic of Rocket Man in the final north of ‘Elton John American Show in Los Angeles.
  • November 25: Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special – In this special presentation from Marvel Studios, the Guardians travel to Earth in search of the perfect gift to make Christmas unforgettable for Peter Jason Quill, a celestial-human hybrid.
  • November 30: Willow – An all-new series following George Lucas’ 1988 fantasy adventure in which the wizard Nelwyn returns, years after rescuing the infant Empress Elora Danan, to lead a band of misfit heroes on a harrowing rescue mission to through a world beyond imagination.
  • December 7: Connect – A Star Original coming exclusively to Disney+ about a man kidnapped by an organ harvesting gang who wakes up after the procedure to find his eye missing and he has a vision of an infamous serial killer.
