Foxtel Media partners with Brown Brothers to offer doco wine

Foxtel Media has announced a new partnership with Brown Brothers, one of Australia’s premier wine families, to create a special one-hour documentary titled Next In Wine: Survival & Succession.

Together with Dundas Media, Foxtel Media created the documentary to celebrate and promote the legacy of the Brown Brothers.

Pioneering new winemaking methods since 1889, the Brown Brothers documentary follows the women of the Brown family on their journey to bring cutting-edge innovation to vintage wine.

The wine label is led by the fourth generation of women in the family who are dedicated to changing the wine game.

Wendy Moore, The LifeStyle Channels Group Chief Executive said: “This is an inspiring story of strong women taking risks to build a new future for their family business. It’s an industry they’ve loved all their lives, and their passion and authenticity are contagious.

The documentary will focus on the launch of a new wine, Tarrango, a light red made from Tarrango grapes.

Viewers will have a front row seat to the challenge facing the fourth generation; maintaining the family heritage while injecting a modern and accessible drinking experience into the Australian wine market. As the documentary unfolds, viewers will see if their ambitious plans for this new kind of fresh red wine will come to fruition.

The special documentary will air on Foxtel’s Lifestyle Channel and via Binge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 30 and on Fox Doco’s at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4.

Brown Brothers is also a season one partner of Selling in the City, as part of the celebrations of a successful sale for the lucky owners.
