ARTS: THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS: THE THIRTIES As the rest of the country mired in the Great Depression, Las Vegas was making its way. A documentary funded by the Las Vegas Centennial Commission explores how the events of the 1930s set the stage for Las Vegas as we know it today.
